British Indie Psych Punk Rock

Prayers Electric are a Manchester two-piece making British indie psych-punk rock. Big hooks and fuzzy guitars push against driving drums, while shouted refrains pull the room in. The songs gather weight as they go: louder, stranger and more alive.

Inspired by the great two-piece bands before them, Prayers Electric favour immediacy, handmade ideas and the rough edges that make a room feel involved. Their second EP, Going Round Again, turns the pressures of work, performance and escape into sharp, restless songs made to be played loud.

After launching Going Round Again at their biggest Manchester headline show so far, Prayers Electric are carrying that momentum into new rooms and onto bigger stages. They are a band in motion, best caught live.
